Dr. Partha Majumder
Founder & Director
Dr. Partha Majumder, a geophysicist with profound expertise, has committed more than fifteen years to groundwater research. He successfully earned his Ph.D. in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). His professional journey included a four-year tenure as a postdoctoral researcher at two renowned institutions: Utah State University, USA, and Hohai University, China. Dr. Majumder’s research expertise encompass a wide range of topics, including analytical and numerical groundwater flow modeling, reactive transport modeling, Lagrangian transport modeling, groundwater resources management, groundwater remediation, identification of contaminant sources, groundwater level prediction, and capture zone delineation. Throughout his career, he has published his research findings in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology, Hydrological Processes, Water Resources Management, Engineering Analysis With Boundary Element, Environmental Development, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, and the Journal of Hydroinformatics.
